Add a shortcut to Placeloop

To access the Placeloop platform in one click, add a shortcut on your phone and/or computer.

Create a shortcut on your computer with Google Chrome

1. Sign in to your Placeloop business account.
2. Click the three dots menu at the top-right of your browser.
3. In the dropdown menu, find “Cast, save and share”.
4. Then select “Create shortcut”.

Create a shortcut on your computer with Mozilla Firefox or Microsoft Edge

1. Sign in to your Placeloop business account.
2. Resize your Firefox or Edge window so you can see both your desktop and the browser window on the same screen.
3. Click and hold the padlock icon to the left of the address bar.
4. While holding down the left mouse button, drag the icon to your desktop and then release — the shortcut is created.

Create a shortcut on your computer with Safari

1. Sign in to your Placeloop business account.
2. Click on "File" at the top of your screen, then choose "Save As…"."
3. Rename your shortcut, choose where to save it (e.g. Desktop), and select the file format (both work).
4. Save it—and you're done!

Create a shortcut on an Apple device (iOS)

1. Open Safari and go to your Placeloop business account.
2. Tap the share icon (an arrow pointing up from a square).
3. Select “Add to Home Screen”.
4. Rename it if you wish, and you're done!

Create a shortcut on an Android device

1. Open your browser and go to your Placeloop business account.
2. Tap the three dots menu at the top-right.
3. Select “Add to Home screen”.
4. Confirm by tapping “Add to Home screen”.
